KID AI Summer Camp
Weekly Highlights
June 9 – 13
AI Adventure Kick‑Off & Tech Fundamentals
Campers launch their journey by discovering what AI is, tracing its history, and pitting “human vs. AI” in fun challenges. Hands‑on projects include a collaborative cooking contest guided by an AI recipe assistant and daily “Operation Respect” games that set the tone for inclusive teamwork.
June 16 – 20
Privacy Protectors
Kids become digital superheroes as they learn how AI keeps information safe—and how to protect their own. They design an interactive AI‑themed mural, craft 3‑D privacy tokens, and finish the week with “Powering Up Peace,” practicing online kindness through role‑play adventures.
June 23 – 27
Classification & Pattern Adventure
From sorting wildlife images to spotting patterns in music, campers train mini‑models to recognize the world around them. Real‑life team missions turn pattern‑recognition skills into scavenger hunts, all reinforced by daily “Operation Respect” reflections.
June 30 – July 3
Junior Data Explorers
Young data detectives collect, clean, and visualize kid‑friendly datasets—then see AI predict tasty outcomes in another crowd‑favorite cooking contest. “Robots Can’t Replace Respect” activities remind everyone that empathy matters just as much as algorithms.
July 7 – 11
Creativity in AI (Special Guests!)
Industry guests show how AI composes music, designs video‑game worlds, and paints digital masterpieces. Campers remix songs with machine learning and contribute tiles to a giant AI art mural, all while practicing “Operation Respect” collaboration skills.
July 14 – 18
Planet Pioneers: AI Edition
Future eco‑engineers explore AI tools that monitor health, protect forests, and aid disaster relief. Team challenges simulate real emergencies, and “Powering Up Peace” circles emphasize community care and responsible tech innovation.
July 21 – 25
Deep Dive: AI’s Secret Sauce
Generative AI and prompt engineering take center stage as kids create storybooks, memes, and mini‑apps. A fresh AI cooking showdown fuels creativity, followed by “Operation Respect” debates on ethical AI use.
July 28 – Aug 1
Speak‑Easy AI Week
Voice tech comes alive through chatbot design, speech‑recognition games, and building their own AI assistants. Campers craft 3‑D conversation bubbles for the ongoing mural and revisit “Robots Can’t Replace Respect” to balance tech talk with active listening.
Aug 4 – 8
Next‑Gen Neighborhoods
Smart‑home simulations and city‑planning challenges let kids automate lights, traffic, and recycling with block‑based code. In a real‑world AI mission, teams prototype sustainable neighborhoods while applying daily “Operation Respect” guidelines.
Aug 11 – 15
Vision in Motion
The finale focuses on computer vision, object detection, and self‑driving car logic. Campers train vision models, race mini‑rover cars, and celebrate with a last AI cooking contest—wrapping up with a “Powering Up Peace” showcase of everything they’ve learned.

-
Fun Friday
Each Friday afternoon, parents are invited on‑site to experience the week’s learning in action.
-
Even‑Numbered Weeks:
AI Cooking & Science Fair
Young chefs demonstrate AI‑assisted recipes and cooking experiments—think flavor‑pairing predictors, smart‑sensor bake‑offs, and edible data visualizations. Parents sample the creations, vote on “Most Inventive Dish,” and learn how AI sparks curiosity in the kitchen.
Odd-Numbered Weeks:
AI Art & Music Expo
Campers unveil digital murals, generative music mixes, and interactive art pieces created with the week’s new AI skills. Families can walk through gallery stations, ask questions, and even add their own creative touches alongside the kids.
These Fun Friday events run 12 PM – 1 PM (during the last hour of the main program) and offer a lively showcase of camper projects, giving families a front‑row seat to their child’s growing confidence and creativity with AI.
The KID Device: Your Child’s AI Sidekick
-
-
Throughout camp, each student works hands-on with the KID device - a child-safe, voice-activated AI orb that bridges imagination and technology. The device guides daily challenges (from coding prompts to recipe suggestions), responds to creative questions in real time, and logs learning milestones that families can review in the Parent App. With built-in safety filters and easy-to-use controls, the KID device empowers young creators to experiment confidently while keeping parents in the loop.
Flexible Weekly Enrollment
Every week introduces a self-contained theme—privacy, data science, generative art, smart cities, and more—so campers can join for a single session or stay for the entire 10-week journey. Lessons are scaffolded to accommodate newcomers on Monday morning without repeating material for returning students, ensuring fresh discoveries and inclusive teamwork no matter when your child starts.
